This painting, as with all my paintings, came about completely unexpected. I always start with an idea for a color to start with, then as I go along I paint whatever I am guided to paint. To me this painting feels like something is trying to bloom through the background, The flowers are moving out of the way, to allow whatever it is in the background to unveil itself. What do you have inside of you that may want to "bloom".

CARE & MAINTENANCE
